The Oral History and Life Stories Network is one of the 28 networks of the ESSHC and brings together oral historians and life story researchers and practitioners who explore memory, narratives, and history. Call For Papers: 'Lived Experience and Co-Production: Education, Heritage and Cultural Collaborations.

St Mary's University, Twickenham, Hogarth's House, and the Panacea Society| 5 June 2026 | London, UK

As part of individual research projects which are producing 'lived experience' research into senses and feelings at Hogarth's House and the Panacea Society, we are considering broadly how 'lived experience' can be used to consider how academics might contribute to broadening engagement in heritage and culture, and how it might be used reciprocally to explore how heritage might improve pedagogy and student experience in higher education institutions.
